One of the most rewarding things about our studio is the ability to capture moments for every family that comes in our doors.  One of the main reasons we even have a photogrpahy studio is because it is so rewarding to have the privelege of taking photos for clients that will serve for generations to come.  That’s no small thing, and we understand that.   Just as rewarding is the opportunity to do exactly this for friends.  When our good friends Reed & Lora asked us about taking little Jack’s newborn portraits, what could we say?  OF COURSE!

There really are few things in life better than newborn portaits.  Mom & Dad almost always come in so tired, exhaused from the first few days of little sleep, much action, and precious little time to spare — even for newbon portraits.  But every single time we get this opportunity, our clients always tell us how glad they are that they made the trip (and the sacrifice!) to have their newborn portaits made.  Little Jack was no different — he is absolutely adorable.

So without further adieu, thanks go out to our good friends Reed & Lora for bringing their newborn son Jack over to the studio.  Here are a few sneak peek photos.  Enjoy!

Today we had little Terra in the studio with us.  She is all the way from Dallas, Texas and as you can tell is just about as adorable as they come!  She really was amazing — for only being six years old she is made for the camera.  Terra is really photogenic, especially for her age, when I am convinced there’s no such thing as a six-year-old that isn’t cute!  She shows so much depth in these photos, it really is astounding.  Any ways, I hope you enjoy!

One last note… we’ll be off to our first wedding of the year this Saturday in Louisville, KY.  We’re pumped that wedding season is upon us and I’ll be sure to be posting some of my favorite images of the season here for you all.

Some kids know how to have a really fun time when it is picture time, and Jordan & Megan are a classic example!  They didn’t even take a second to get warmed up to having their cheer photos made!  We had fun taking these photos, and we’ll probably turn alot of these into some really awesome digital collages that we custom-create each year.  But, I wanted to go ahead and create one digital collage so you can see what I mean!   So, for Liz, Jordan, and Megan… here’s a sneak peek of a few photos from a really awesome photo shoot!  We can’t wait to see these turned into a digital collage… we’ll probably post a few of them here when you pick them out!

We’ve been really blessed to have Elyse come into our studio for her senior photos.   She has been a ton of fun and she is really photogenic.  We have absolutely loved doing Elyse’s indoor and outdoor photos!  Here are a few sneak peek photos from her indoor session.  We think they really rock!!!

Well, we got a real treat this yesterday in our studio.  Lilly, Tucker, and Bella came to have a session with us.  We love kids!  They are so much fun, and there is a wealth of expression, emotion, and personality in every child — and every photo too!  We decided on a classic session, using alot of black for our backgrounds and showcasing their musical instruments.  What fun!
