There is something perfect about little newborns.  We absolutely love it when new mommies & daddies bring in their little treasures into our studio for a session.  Little Anna Claire is just beautiful, and was perfect for us.  She slept right through the session and we had a great time!

I am nearly done with all the photos, but I wanted to post up a blog entry so mom & dad (and everyone else!) could see her portraits.  Isn’t she a perfect little thing?

When we started this blog, I promised myself I’d have weekly updates with photos since so many of you read and comment on it.  (A big thanks for that, by the way!!!)

Well, as you can probably tell, we’ve been three weeks delinquent!  So sorry about that!  But, as many of you might already know, we’ve got a good reason.  A very cute, blue-eyed, 7lb. reason named William (Will) Asher Spencer!  He was born on April 22, weighing in at 7lb. 4oz. and 20 inches.  What fun he’s been!  And tiring too.  :-)   Anyhow, we’re just now getting back into the swing of things after taking our leave.

So, here’s my shameless plug of our own kiddo!  :-)   We hope you enjoy these photos of little Will as much as we do.  They’re going to be all over our house, that much is for sure!

We had little Trent over to the studio for his 9 mo. portrait session — it is always alot of fun when Chris and Kennette bring him.  We were going to have a rabbit in the studio, but as luck would have, the store was sold out in just three hours.  :-)   Nonetheless, we opted for ‘Plan B’, which ended up being just as cute: Three little ducklings.  At first Trent didn’t know what to think, but he and the ducks quickly learned allllllll about each other!  Chris and I were laughing so hard.  I made a little comic strip about the duck and his escape from the clutches of Trent.  If you look, you can see the duck leaping out of the basket to make his getaway.  So funny!!!!  Enjoy!

One of the most rewarding things about our studio is the ability to capture moments for every family that comes in our doors.  One of the main reasons we even have a photogrpahy studio is because it is so rewarding to have the privelege of taking photos for clients that will serve for generations to come.  That’s no small thing, and we understand that.   Just as rewarding is the opportunity to do exactly this for friends.  When our good friends Reed & Lora asked us about taking little Jack’s newborn portraits, what could we say?  OF COURSE!

There really are few things in life better than newborn portaits.  Mom & Dad almost always come in so tired, exhaused from the first few days of little sleep, much action, and precious little time to spare — even for newbon portraits.  But every single time we get this opportunity, our clients always tell us how glad they are that they made the trip (and the sacrifice!) to have their newborn portaits made.  Little Jack was no different — he is absolutely adorable.

So without further adieu, thanks go out to our good friends Reed & Lora for bringing their newborn son Jack over to the studio.  Here are a few sneak peek photos.  Enjoy!
