Today is senior BLITZ day! I have been meaning to get all these sneak peeks from our senior sessions up for you guys. Here is miss Hailey. We was super fun! When we went out to a small river (it is called a river, anyhow) little did we know the adventure we’d have. Hailey was brave enough to tight-rope walk out to a branch over the river. (Image 8) I was proud of her, and we got a couple awesome shots there… the warm tone from the sun is just awesome.
Oh… and right in the middle of shooting, my flash and softbox goes *crash!* right into the water. I pulled it out, soaking wet, full of water, but miraculously it still worked! I got it dried out and finished some awesome portraits. I hope you enjoy these! I’ll be posting Lauren’s session here in just a few hours.

Here’s my last blitz post… for now!
Lauren’s portraits turned out great! We shot a few urban portraits as well as some really nice spring portraits. We had some great lighting and lots of fun! If that wasn’t enough, Dana (@DanaMSUAlum) came by and ummmm…. helped? I think it depends on who you ask. I got some really funny ones of her trying to make Lauren smile, but I think I’ll keep them off the blog.
I’m pretty sure I can shoot seniors all day long, they are so much fun and are all so unique. Lauren was super sweet and I am glad to have her on our team!
Enjoy!

Its that time of year again! Our senior reps are just now getting their spring mini-sessions scheduled and made! We’re having lots of fun. I’ve already done four, and I’ve got more coming.
If you or someone you know is going to be a senior for the 2011 year, I want to know! Also, if they are outgoing, fun, and great to be around, have them shoot us a note to apply for our 2011 Firelight Spokesmodel program! We treat our kiddos well, and we are so appreciative for what they do! Please let me know if you have any that are interested. We’re taking applications for probably another month.
Speaking of fun Spokesmodels, here are Casey & Samm. They were lots of fun, and since they’re such great friends, we shot their sessions together! Makes for alot of fun, I’m tellin’ ya! We settled on an urban session first, then went out to a field and shot with some wild flowers. I think they turned out stunning! Let me know what you think!

We just finished a session today, and I wanted to share a sneak peek with you guys. This is little Wesley. Great name, eh? I am pretty sure mom & dad named him after me.
Anyhow — he was lots of fun, and full of great expressions! I noticed now that’s he’s really starting to grow that he is looking so much more like big brother Jackson all the time. I think Jackson will be really proud of that. I know I sure would. So, here’s a few of my favorites from Wesley’s three month session. At this stage in life, I like to take alot of portraits on their tummies looking up. Holding their heads up is a big deal, and it always gets lots of smiles from them. Plus, mom brought in his new Easter toy that the Easter Bunny gave him. Its a little giraffe, and he was lovin’ it! You can’t see it in the pictures, but he was all about it! I think I might have to buy one of those for the studio.
Let me know what you think!
