Flowers and Lizard Muffins

We had a really fun session today, and I just wanted to share it with you all. Now that the march flowers are in bloom (can you believe that?!?!?) we had our very first spring session with Jack, Jaye, and Crider. We went to a field out at LBL, and it was just filled with yellow march flowers everywhere. We had a blast.
Jack is really fun, too. He’s that age where you can really start talking with him and there’s no telling what he’ll say. I love kids, they are usually alot more talkative than adults, and maybe I’m just strange, but alot of times I like what they have to say more than us old people!
Anyhow, Jack was telling me all about how to make muffins, he seems to be an expert. I then told him that I like to eat Lizard Muffins and Frog Muffins. He laughed (which made for some wonderful portraits) — but I think he’s convinced I’m crazy. Apparently, he went home and told his grandmother all about how I eat Lizard Muffins. He’s gonna stick with Blueberry, I should think.
Okay — I’m posting WAY too many here, I know. But these are a super quick edit (not finished quite yet!) and I just couldn’t settle for less! Let me know what you think!

LOVE!!!!!!, everything about them!
Truly amazing!!!!!! Jack and Jaye are my grandkids and Wes has captured their personalities with these great pictures.
These pictures with cousin Crider will make anyone smile a little brighter this spring!
Your photos are fantastic! I love all the bright colors plus the black and white. Of course, you had beautiful subjects to work with. However, I have a feeling you enjoy phographing children (I also read your blog!) I am a friend of Jack and Jaye’s grandmother, Jo JO. I have a grandson a few months older than Jack who lives in Lexington. I would love to have you photograph him sometime. Thanks for the photographs and the website
Wes, thank you so much! These couldn’t be any more perfect! I can’t wait to see the rest of them. I’m afraid we’ve set the bar impossibly high for any sessions in the future with this one! Crider and Jaye’s eyes look amazing!
WOW-these are SO GOOD!!! This will be hard on the pocketbook. Wes, thank you for capturing such wonderful “looks”. I really LOVE the pictures (of course the 3 subjects are precious anyway). I will continue to spread your wonderful talent to others in need of pictures.
