Last week, Neely & Emma came into our studio for a portrait session. We decided on something really unique, fun, and totally cool – a Firelight Urban Session. Both girls were absolutely awesome, and we had a really fun time with their portrait session. I think they turned out really great! One reason I love urban sessions is that they are really relaxed and there’s just so many locations and ideas to use! It is a great combination of candid and fun, which, with kids as cute as these, make for terrific portraits! So, here’s a sneak peek!

Last week I got to spend some good time with my friends Brandon and Karissa. This happy couple is getting married really soon! We got to have a little catchup time while we did their engagement shoot. It was alot of fun, and their photos are really great! I wanted to show just a few of them to you on this cozy, rainy Saturday afternoon… (at least here in Murray that’s the case.
)
Buuuuuuuuuut, before I do, did you know that Brandon is famous? If not, here’s the video to prove it!
Enjoy the photos!

Gosh, sometimes time really really sneaks up on me! I can’t believe that little Trent is already a year old! It is alot of fun to watch the kids that come to our studio grow up. Every time they come back in, there’s something new about them, some little hint of a new achievement like sitting up all by themselves, crawling, walking… or even talking! But there’s also some things that don’t change, like their personalities. Trent is always so much fun, and loves to smile and have fun.
Only this time… it was having fun while absolutely demolishing a cake! Yummy!
Happy Birthday, Trent! We hope to see you again soon!!!

Well, we sure have a treat for you today! Our good friends Michael & Tiffany brought in their new, tiny, little treasure by the name of Elijah Bradley. Eli was just 5-days old, and I have just finished editing his newborn portrait session. We just love to do portrait sessions with newborns, they just have that little tender and curled look to them that is so peaceful and perfect! Even more rewarding is that little Eli’s parents are good friends — which just makes it all that more special that they brought him into the studio!
We did a few natural light portraits in the front of the studio, then moved to the back for the rest. We think the photos are just beautiful, so why not post a little sneak peek, don’t you think?
