Little Drew and Addison came into our studio last week, and we had a GREAT time!  Rachel and Andy’s two little kiddos were super cute, lots of fun, and totally photogenic!  One of the coolest things we got to do is recreate a portrait taken of Rachel when she was two years old.   This was a photo taken by a studio many years ago (we won’t say how many, right, Rachel?) and I think it turned out perfect!  So Rachel had a wonderful idea of bringing it in and re-creating it for her daughter in the same extact dress and hat she wore!

Rachel brought in the old canvas picture of herself and we had little Addison pose the same way.  She did GREAT!!!!  Later on, I’ll show you a side by side comparison of the two photos.  They really came out just alike!

And I haven’t even got to mention to little Drew yet!  He looks exactly like his Daddy and was full of fun!  We’ve got plently of great shots to choose from when it comes to little Drew, that’s for sure.

So to little Addison and Drew… thanks for visiting out studio!  We had so much fun with you guys!  Enjoy a few photos as a sneak peek!

This is the portrait we are recreating!  I’ll show a side-by-side of both portraits really soon!

Believe it or not, senior season is starting!  It always sneaks up on us every year, but maybe not quite as much this year since we’ve really really been planning for it!  This year, our 2010 Firelight Seniors are in for a real treat!  We are offering a whole new collection of totally awesome senior gear, like brand new photo books with metal or canvas covers, sweet grad cards (waaaaaay better than balfour’s if I may say so!), brag books, and lots more that are sure to rock your socks off!

For us, Senior phtography is really a blast!  We love having the chance to sit down with him or her, talk over their ideas, expectations, tastes, and overal opinions on their senior portrait session.  We absolutely LOVE to be creative, and senior sessions really allow for it!   We really offer alot of really cool options that seniors love, especially grunge and urban sessions that are just totally cool!  When we got to sit down with Denham, we decided on exactly that — a really cool grunge session outdoors with his rocking truck and creative personality.

So, before you enjoy the photos, I wanted to make one announcement.  We are currently taking applications for our 2010 Firelight Spokesmodels!  Are you a graduating senior within 75 miles of Murray, KY?  Are you outgoing?  Do you have a fun personality, and are you a positive influence on your peers?  If so, we’re interested in you!  We are taking up to three Firelight spokesmodels from each school to be part of our team of exclusive seniors for the 2010 year.  If you’d like to be part of out team, contact us right away to apply!  Our spokesmodels get a free session up to four hours, lots of show-off gear, and the opportunity to earn LOTS of print credit!  We hope to see you as a part of our team!

When we started this blog, I promised myself I’d have weekly updates with photos since so many of you read and comment on it.  (A big thanks for that, by the way!!!)

Well, as you can probably tell, we’ve been three weeks delinquent!  So sorry about that!  But, as many of you might already know, we’ve got a good reason.  A very cute, blue-eyed, 7lb. reason named William (Will) Asher Spencer!  He was born on April 22, weighing in at 7lb. 4oz. and 20 inches.  What fun he’s been!  And tiring too.  :-)   Anyhow, we’re just now getting back into the swing of things after taking our leave.

So, here’s my shameless plug of our own kiddo!  :-)   We hope you enjoy these photos of little Will as much as we do.  They’re going to be all over our house, that much is for sure!
